Product Details

Through the use of this product, slag zinc is separated and the melt is purified, significantly enhancing the compactness, mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance of zinc alloys. It effectively reduces defects such as porosity and slag inclusions in castings, ensuring high yield rates.

Characteristics: White powder/granular

Processing temperature: 420℃~450℃ (excluding aluminum); 580℃~610℃ (including aluminum)

Recommended dosage: The usage amount is 0.1-0.2% of the zinc liquid, with a recommended dosage of 0.15%.

Packaging and storage: Packed in cardboard boxes or woven bags lined with plastic bags, with a weight of 20kg or 25kg per box. Properly stored and strictly protected from moisture.

main advantages

• It reacts gently in zinc liquid, without violent combustion or generating a large amount of smoke.

• It has a stronger ability to adsorb oxide particles, which gather to form slag clumps that are easy to remove. This improves the fluidity of the melt, reduces zinc consumption, and increases metal recovery.

Instructions for use

◀ Manual spreading method (suitable for small-scale melting furnaces):

Press the bell jar (with a Φ15~16mm hole) into the deep part of the zinc liquid (7~10cm from the bottom of the furnace) until the flux reacts completely. Let it stand for 10 minutes and then thoroughly remove the dry dross. Alternatively, use a degasser to rotate and stir it into the interior of the zinc liquid, degas, stir, and remove the dross.

◀ Inert gas injection method (suitable for large/automated production lines):

Within the refining temperature range, load a specific amount of refining agent into the powder feeder's storage tank, secure the lid, introduce nitrogen, and activate the refining tank switch. Once the iron tube starts spraying out refining agent, insert it into the zinc liquid and move it horizontally, vertically, or in an arc. Ensure the flux is fully sprayed within the refining time, then withdraw the iron tube from the zinc liquid and shut off the nitrogen supply.
